Abstract
All ropes are designed for static load without considering bending and torsion stresses. When calculating the rape, one proceeds from its density and straight-weight length. The actual working conditions of the rope is very different fron their operation on a running maching. But the experimental studies conducted by scientists have determined the effect of various factors on the durability of ropes. On the basis of these experiments were developed methods for calculating ropes. The use of the proposed machine with a rocker to study the stability allowed to expand the empirical data on the wear of the rope at different angles, which in turn allows you to increase the durability of the use of ropes in lifting machines. Permissible kut otdilennya rope on the block is based on the condition of limiting the overkill of the rope when it comes out of the arm of the block. To increase the service life of the rope required to take the diameter of the block is larger than the diameter of the drum, because passing through the block rope has a sub-rotation, and on the drum it is bent once.
